The Anheuser Busch Eye Institute at Saint Louis University:
The Saint Louis University Ophthalmology Department lies in a newly renovated structure at the south end of the main SLU campus. The building contains all of the outpatient clinics, lecture halls, library, research department, offices, and cafeteria. The second floor is reserved for the surgical center where most ophthalmology cases take place.
Saint Louis University Hospital:
Saint Louis University Hospital provides state-of-the-art tertiary and quaternary level services for adult patients for the entire region. In addition, it is a Level I trauma center designated both by the state of Missouri and state of Illinois. The hospital has 349 licensed beds and one of the highest occupancy rates in the St. Louis area. The Ophthalmology department sees patients in the emergency room as well as on the consultation services.
Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital:
Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital is a full service, free-standing pediatric hospital located on the campus of Saint Louis University. It provides primary, secondary and tertiary pediatric health services for the city and St. Louis region. Both inpatient and outpatient pediatric ophthalmology services are delivered within the hospital complex. The outpatient clinic is located in a newly completed wing of the hospital.
